Like nails on a chalkboard

I LOVE Christmas music. I even listen in July when I can. However, I think that I will try to get a new law passed. From now on, both Rod Stewart and Michael Bolton will be banned from singing Christmas songs. Aaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!! I can't stand it any longer! Oh, and Neil Diamond - you're next on the list so don't get too comfortable.

I second the motion for all of those singers... big time. I'd like to add Stevie Nicks to that list of rejects that are not allowed to sing Christmas songs. I've never liked her voice in the first place, but this week I actually heard her sing a Christmas song on the radio, and I found myself detesting her voice even more.

OK, so I’m old enough to be your dad. I don’t have a clue who Rod Stewart and Michael Bolton are. But, if they’re messing with lovely Christmas music, I’ll vote for your law to be enacted and strictly enforced.

I gotta add Celine Dion (sorry Amber G) and Amy Grant to the list. I am ready to scream if I hear anything else from either of them.

Kudos to ANY artist coming out with new Christmas songs, new or old (Jason Mraz, Sarah Maclachlin, BNL, etc.). The classics are classics, but c'mon...you GOTTA mix it up a bit.
