How odd...

My boys (ages nearly 11, nearly 10, 7, and 3 1/2) refuse to watch anything that does not involve action or at least weaponry within the first 5 minutes (or Thomas the Train for Scotty). Our Disney movies are completely dust covered and I doubt that they could even tell you what the movies, The Little Mermaid or Mary Poppins, are even about. Apparently, they are too boring and just for girls. They haven't ever even heard of Pollyanna or Bedknobs & Broomsticks. Yet, here they are, glued to the television watching March of the Wooden Soldiers. It was made back in 1934 and was a musical. Go figure!

Oh, and don't forget cooking club - my house, Thursday night - 8 or 8:30 - I can't remember which.

We are dipping chocolates so dress warmly!

Oh uggh. I'm not lookin' forward to Nate Jr. with all his gun interests & shoot 'em up videos either. I guess thats just boys for ya. I'm used to it though growin up with 3bro's & no sis's.

Thats so nice they watch the "old time" movies. I lOVED that movie when I was younger...still do. Its nice to take a stroll down memory lane.

I think our kids will be raised on black & white "Honeymooners" episodes too!

I love Mary Poppins & all the Disney movies! Even with no kids, yet, I still watch my Disney movies all the time! I love March of the Wooden Soldiers too!!! Maybe your boys watch it because there are soldiers in it?!?
