Today, Zachary and Mikey went to the orthodontist. Zachary will be getting a spacer to widen his upper jaw and then there's Mikey. Poor, poor Mikey....apparently his mouth is a wee bit too crowded.
Mikey has to have seven teeth pulled. All at once. Seven!!! His mouth will be like raw hamburger for about 4 days. Have you seen Mikey? He's a toothpick. I am afraid that he will whither away without stuff to keep him bulked up. What's going to happen if he turns sideways? He'll disappear and we may never see him again.

I remember having 4 or 5 of my primary teeth pulled when I was younger... but SEVEN? Poor Mikey. Time to bulk him up with ice cream and milk shakes!
In my line of work (dental practice management software) I've seen worse, though. I'm flying out to San Antonio next month to visit one of our customers, and I looked at the "Smile Gallery" page of their website to see some of their work. Let's just say I've discovered I'm not too big a fan of the "Before" photos.
OUCH! Poor Mikey! I had a widener for my upper jaw before I had braces, I had to turn the dial once a day. Some days I would forget so I'd turn it a bunch of times after I'd remember... my orthodontist nearly had a heart attack when I told him that! He said doing that is VERY very bad.
I can't even tell you how hard I laughed at that picture! So funny!
SEVEN!!! Are you kidding me? That is crazy - poor guy - you'll have to feed him LOTS of milk shakes :)

Ow! 7 at once! Poor guy! That isn't fun! Heath just went to the dentist today & had a root canal, still not much fun.
The Jafar picture makes me laugh in relation to the dentist.
Poor guy. The majority of people are obsessed with losing & toning their weight, but I'm realizing how hard it is for some to GAIN weight.
I was going to say..."gee, I wonder where Mikey gets it?!?...Not!!" :) Sort of like "Um, where does CJ get his hairline?" :)
