Have you ever had a day where you feel so lazy it scares you?
A while back, I was in a really crummy slump. My family and I were waiting for a tow truck to come pick up Zack's truck when we decided to go to the bank next door. I needed to buy some stamps and knew that the ATM carried some. Anyway, as we were pulling up I asked Zack if he had his ATM card. He did, but asked me why I didn't have mine. I told him I did, but that it was all the way in my back pocket.
Another time, I was asking everyone what they wanted for dinner - tuna melts or tuna salad sandwiches. Zack said that it was entirely up to me. I decided to make the sandwiches because it was too much trouble to reach over and turn the oven on.
Lazy - with a capital "L".
Luckily, with five kids, laziness is never permanent.

You, lazy...yeah right. I think that was a perfectly valid reason for choosing which meal to make.
Oh Amber...this post made my day! How funny! It does not sound like you are lazy you are just simplifying! I am the one that does not even have a To-Do-List, most days...
Oh how I wish I could be lazy. Today I decided to let my house go for an hour and just veg on my bed and watch tv. I never do this! When Kent came home and saw the house he was amazed. I just reminded him that this is what happens when Mom stops for JUST one hour. AMAZING what can happen!
Those pictures are hilarious! Come on people! if you cant find joys in the little things like walking the dog and going on a walk with your baby, You are so doing it wrong!
I've been like that recently too... although I like to say it's just pregnancy fatuige but I am just a lazy person and fight it everyday. It's actually one of my personal demons that I struggle with constantly. It's nice to hear I'm not the only one, even if it is completely not your norm... though I have the feeling that my laziness does have it's limit, especially once this second baby comes along. My napping days are probably over.
I know I spelled several words wrong in there.
Ha! I love it! Funny pictures! Mmmmm tuna melts...very family to get those! ;)
I watched the Bachelor Marathon ALL DAY yesterday. I know I won't be able to do that with 2 kids though, so I soaked it up as my break for the week.
I have those days too. It's nice to do that sometimes, or else we would all go crazy!
Thanks for the reassurance that other people feel that way too! :) That's the way we walk Maverick most days in the winter - it's too blasted cold for us all to suffer! :) Ha ha, I have to save that picture.
