Boo-ya, baby!

Oh, what a beautiful morning!! Our thermostat inside our home read 54 degrees this morning! Hot chocolate for all!

Funny, people joke about having to wear mittens and coats when they come visit us...I guess that's not too far off.

That sounds so nice right now! We're still in the 80's here. In the house we stay between 75 and 78 and have the fans going... although it should save us some money because we won't have to turn the heat on until we get down to about 65, no AC or heat going, our bill should be sweet next month!
And don't your kids freeze?!

Sure do! They eat breakfast with blankets on :)

sheesh, with heating costs that doesn't sound like a bad idea. I mainly worry about infants, and even toddlers like Mariska, since they can't say how cold they are or aren't... once our kids are older they'll just have to bundle up too! Of course that's if I can handle it, I have to wear 2-3 socks in the winter! Even here sometimes!

Can’t wait until we get the warts over here where I can warm them up! This morning (Friday, Nov 10) we got up to 42 degrees in the cabin! But after about an hour it warmed up nicely to a roaring 65 degrees. Felt great.

Sounds like my house. I live with the thermostat Nazi! Winter or summer, doesn't matter.

tee hee hee...I love the comic. Yeah, I still think you're crazy with all the "I love winter" crap :)

I must say, it was difficult to wake up this morning with such nice weather... 2 inches of excellent snow on the ground, and a nice chill in the air... only to end up flying to San Antonio, where it's now almost 10:00pm, yet it's still in the mid-80's and it's about as humid as our bathroom at home after a 15-minute scalding hot shower. I guess it was just kind of a harsh transition from one extreme to the other, that's all.

I knew you would be loving it!

Funny comic page.

I felt so bad when I get Nathan Jr up in the morning & his hands & feet are freezing. Our heater makes me so frustrated. Our room has to be steaming hot just so his room is barely 'not freezing.'

54? Wow, the last three days we've been below 10, outside that is!! YUCK!! Oh, and we've been drinking hot chocolate since September!! ;) Wish we were there to enjoy a NICE winter...
